This is Sophia, a 23 year old Hungarian girl of Palestinian Bedouin descent. She is currently going to university in Belgium to complete her Master’s studies in International Relations. She loves cooking and girly things and is glad to talk to anyone, whether if it is for advice or sharing love for Palestine.
Please, do not hesitate to say Szia! She is a sweetheart who loves to talk about anything and seeks friends from around the world! ^__^
@Ghanni3anta3rif is a Palestinian music project by young Palestinian (-and Golani) artists and queer activists that tells the more than often untold Arab queer and trans* narratives while also raising awareness to local music fans about the complexities of gender and sexuality in Palestinian society.
‘B7ebbik’ is my personal favorite. It’s as cheesy as any traditional Palestinian love song can be, except that it’s about an unconditional love between two young women spanning from Akka to Lydd. The best line goes “I love you and thank god for that smile; it frees political prisoners and makes revolutionaries rise”
“5 Broken Cameras” Oscar-nominated filmmaker/director Emad Burnat, his wife Soreya, and son Jibreel arrive at the red carpet, Oscars 2013. She’s wearing a beautiful traditional Palestinian dress (Thoab).
